Learning and Development

The Attention Autism programme is suitable for all Early Years children, those with and without social communication difficulties. Early Years learning can be delivered inclusively through this model to great effect with a strong emphasis on speech, language, and attention skills as well as the promotion of Personal Social and Emotional skills.

The Curiosity Programme is a programme delivered on a one to one basis with individual children and young people who are developmentally under 2 years old.

• Supports school readiness by enabling children to develop listening and attention skills.

Curiosity Programme

This programme is designed to support children:

• Who need to work one to one before starting the Attention Autism 4 stage programme.
• Are too young to be working in a group e.g. younger than 2 years old.
• Have additional complex needs and would benefit from a programme to encourage them to flourish in the earliest stages of communication, interaction and attention development.
• Do not yet have the skills needed for group working.

How Attention Autism works

Those interested in this opportunity will need to commit to a number of requirements in order to gain full accreditation.

• 6 x 75 minute online live training sessions.
• Course attendees send in 2 films of their work trying the programme.
  • Video 1. Each attendee demonstrating Stage 1
  • Video 2. Each attendee demonstrating stages 1, 2, and 3

How the Curiosity Programme works

Those intersted in this opportunity will need to commit to a number of requirments in order to gain full accreditation.

• 5 online sessions of Curiosity Programme training online.
• Comprehensive training resources and materials will be provided.
• Practitioners skilled to deliver Curiosity Programme in their setting between training sessions. 
• Skilling practitioners to have understanding of how to plan and deliver Curiosity Programme in your setting.
