Description
During this practical face to face workshop, we will explore the ways in which practitioners can effectively support learning and development in the first two years of life. There will be an opportunity to share practical ideas and discuss best practices in developing learning environments for an under twos room.
What will I learn?
We will:
- Considered the developmental process in the prime areas of learning and development during the first two years of life;
- Explore some practical ideas to support practice and consider how to enhance provision in the under twos learning environment;
- Reflected on the role of the adult to enhance learning and development;
- Identified characteristics of effective learning in babies and toddlers.

Practitioners working with children under the age of two years old.

Commitments and Cancellations
In order to maintain best value, we need to run this course on a maximum occupancy basis. If your place is confirmed but you are unable to attend, please send an alternative representative or cancel your place in writing by e-mailing: StartWellBookings@bolton.gov.uk with a minimum of 24 hours' notice.
An administration fee of £25 per person will be charged for the non-attendance of any individual following an online or confirmed telephone booking. These fees will be waived if you send a replacement attendee from your setting to take up your place.
