DescriptionCourse booking page

This training is available due to the sector seeking increased support around the safe use of technology and as a result of Ofsted's focus to protect children from serious harm, both online and offline where there is a potential risk of exposure to inappropriate content.

We have engaged Bolton Schools ICT Service to design a session specifically for PVIs to ensure they are operating in a safe technological way and ensuring children and staff are kept safe when using technology.

What will I learn?

The workshop is designed as a two hour in-depth training session focusing on the safe use of technology.

By the end of the workshop, you will:

  • Be able to review your settings infrastructure.
  • Know how to keep your staff and children safe when using technology.
  • Understanding how to send a secure email.
  • Have an understanding of how to use a business social media account safely.
  • Understand why staff require a work profile/email.

This session supports Ofsted's focus on keeping children safe both online and offline.
