Start Well Assessment and Moderation Activity for Schools
Providers can request support with in-house / cluster moderation of EY Outcomes assessment judgements and the use of the Better Start Portal.
EYFS Profile Completion
In-house support for providers who have to complete an EYFS Profile. This supportive visit will ensure practitioners new to the EYFS/ NQTs or those who need a refresher understand their responsibility to complete and submit the statutory EYFS profile assessment.
EYFS Profile Statutory Moderation Visits and Meetings
In accordance with the Standards and Testing Agency Assessment and Reporting Arrangements a proportion of schools will receive a statutory moderation visit and the rest will be invited to attend a moderation meeting. Moderation visits and meetings take pace in the Summer term and schools will be notified before the end of the Spring term.
Early Years Outcomes Moderation Meeting
These meetings will provide an opportunity for practitioners to share the judgements they have made of their key children’s attainment and their progress using the EYFS Early Years outcomes.
How often?
One per year for practitioners working with 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
