Salary: £12.37 - £12.94 per hour depending on role

Hours: 8:45am to 3:30pm term time only. Can be negotiated.

Job Overview:

The position is within a long established (1979), well respected nursery, which specialising in providing an integrated setting for children with and without special educational needs. Providing a maximum of 30 places in any one session.

Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs is preferred but not essential.

SENCo training is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to

• To effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the particular needs and interests of children in the setting are met
• To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn. 
• To keep records of your key children’s development and learning journeys
• Ensure all children receive the highest standards of care and education
• Be able to make every child feel special and they can achieve their goals
• Be a role model for staff and all children
• Inspirational and forward thinking whilst ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Can communicate clearly
• To ensure children’s safety at all times
• To build and maintain strong relationships working with parents/carers to enable children’s needs are me

The position will be challenging but ultimately will be very rewarding.
