Breaking Barriers
A peer support group for parents and carers of children with SEND - A charity that works with children and young people with SEND. Access peer support and gain support and advice from the service and service users.

MHIST
For parents and carers of children experiencing problems with their mental health. An opportunity to meet others and share their experiences. Delivered by experienced facilitators.

Raise the Youth: Parent Peer Support and Nuturing Parents Mindfulness Programme
Access Parent Peer Support to gain one to one guidance and meet with parent connectors who can support other parents. This service also provides guidance to other informal support groups to meet others and share experiences.
In addition to the peer support above, the Nuturing Parents Mindfulness Programme is an 8-week course to learn how to use mindfulness techniques that support parents to cope better with stress and anxiety. Each week looks at a new topic for example, communication, stress, dealing with difficulties etc.
