Inclusive Early Years Practice
The conference aim is to inspire early years practitioners to:
- Nurture a positive attitude towards diversity and inclusion.
- Recognise the barriers and find solutions to help every child to feel valued and belong.
- Improve practice through advice and challenge.
- Engage in reflective practice as we officially launch 'Bolton’s Early Years Inclusive Quality Award' sharing examples, case studies, and lessons learned from the pilot.
Who is this conference for?
Bolton early years leaders, managers, room leaders and practitioners in daycare, school, and out of school settings, including childminders.
Keynote speakers
Julian Grenier CBE, Early Years Consultant and Author
Julian aims to inspire early years practitioners to nurture a positive attitude towards diversity and inclusion, highlighting some of the barriers and considering the solutions to help every child to feel valued and belong.
Julie Mellor, Attention Autism™
Julie will provide an overview of Attention Autism and the Curiosity Programme.
Suzanne Pendleton, Start Well SEND and Inclusion Lead
Hear about 'Bolton’s Early Years Inclusive Quality Award'. Suzanne will share examples, case studies, and lessons learned from the recent pilot study.
Celebration of Diverse Bolton

Commitments and Cancellations
All requests for cancellations must be sent in writing to: StartWellBookings@bolton.gov.uk. Charges will become effective on the date when written confirmation is received.
As low numbers can affect the viability of a course, we have to apply a charge if notice is not received in good time. The appropriate cancellation charge will apply based on the cost of your booking, as shown below:
