Children ready to learn - Closing the word gap in Bolton
Nationally, and within Bolton, a word gap exists which is impacting on our children’s future life chances.
Effective communication and language development is paramount. Communication and Language underpins all aspects of learning. It is fundamental in preparing children for school, supporting their ability to listen and attend, to understand and speak with confidence in an age appropriate way.
Join us at our early years conference, where we will look more closely at the impact of the word gap in Bolton. Through reflecting on our own practice, we will explore research and share good practice as we consider how we can inspire those around us to make a difference to the word gap in Bolton.
