Risk Support (Children Requiring Specialist Intervention)
This page covers the information and services available for children and families needing additional or specialist physical development intervention.
Criteria for intervention includes:
- Additional or complex needs diagnosed impacting physical development.
- Early involvement of specialist teams (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Paediatrics).
- Limited or no response to earlier support/interventions.
- Monitoring and multi-agency coordination.
- Referral to specialist services and ongoing reviews.
- Support to engage families in interventions and navigate services.
