Inclusive Early Years Fund 2026/27 Payments Issued
Early years providers will be receiving their Inclusive Early Years Fund (IEYF) payment for the 2026/27 financial year soon.
As outlined in the letter issued in May 2026, the fund continues to support providers in meeting the needs of children requiring additional support and to help ensure that inclusive practice remains at the heart of early years provision across Bolton.
Providers are encouraged to review the information contained within the May communication and to ensure that funding is used in line with the purpose of the Inclusive Early Years Fund. It is important that settings retain appropriate records to demonstrate how the funding has been used to support children and improve inclusive practice.
To ensure funding is being used appropriately and in accordance with the conditions of the IEYF, a small number of settings will be selected as part of a routine audit process during the year. Settings chosen for audit will be contacted directly and asked to provide evidence relating to the use of their IEYF allocation.
