What happens in this group?
This facilitated network event allows Managers and Room Leaders in settings the opportunity to review key topics at opportune points throughout the academic year, with time in between for self-reflection.
We will discuss:
- Your vision for EYFS in your setting.
- How to maintain and inspire a whole team EYFS ethos that informs practice.
- The EYFS curriculum, observation and assessment.
- How to secure and embed quality and outcomes in your setting.
- Leading partnerships (parents / locality / agencies / transitions).
- Staff well-being.
- Tips and tricks of effective EYFS leadership.
How often are the sessions?
The network meetings will take place in three different venues throughout the academic year 2023-24.
The meeting will run for 2 hours, with time to look around the different venues at the end of each session or to hear from guest speakers.
Participants are welcome to attend each session if they choose, but a separate booking for each date will be required in order for Bolton Start Well to manage maximum booking numbers.
One place per setting only.

- Thursday 4th July 2024, 2:00pm - 4:00pm Prestolee Primary School, M26 1HJ
Participants are not required to attend all of the above dates. Each session must be booked to manage maximum attendance.

Commitments and Cancellations
In order to maintain best value, we need to run this course on a maximum occupancy basis. If your place is confirmed but you are unable to attend, please send an alternative representative or cancel your place in writing by e-mailing: StartWellBookings@bolton.gov.uk with a minimum of 24 hours' notice.
An administration fee of £25 per person will be charged for the non-attendance of any individual following an online or confirmed telephone booking. These fees will be waived if you send a replacement attendee from your setting to take up your place.
Bolton Start Well operates on a not-for-profit basis. Our focus is to achieve positive meaningful outcomes. Any surplus income is reinvested to maintain and improve the quality of our services and customer care.
