This E-learning training will be available upon request to access any time.
Training for practitioners who have already completed WellComm face to face training.
The course is based around the WellComm Speech and Language Toolkit and is designed to develop practitioners’ skills and confidence in supporting children under 5 years, who are at risk of developing speech, language and communication difficulties.
To participate fully in this course, it is essential you have a copy of the WellComm Toolkit to use during this training. The WellComm Toolkit will be made available to Bolton settings that have attended face to face training.
How will this course help?
- Understand how to assess children working below their age-related expectations;
- Know how to support children working below their age related expectations;
- Carry out appropriate interventions within a whole class or group environment, in small groups or on an individual basis;
- Accurately monitor children’s progress; and
- Make effective use of Early Years Pupil Premium and Pupil Premium Grant.

Who is this course for?
This e-learning course is a refresher aimed at all practitioners working with children aged 6 months to 6 years and their families; for practitioners who have already completed WellComm 'face to face' training.
