Working with Fathers - GM Workforce Survey

GMCA Logo

This survey is open to all paid and unpaid early years and childcare colleagues. The insights from this survey will inform local service development - please cascade to all colleagues.

The Fatherhood Institute and Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) are working together to strengthen father-inclusive practice across Family Hubs and family support services.

We want to hear from professionals across the early years, children's and family workforce - both paid and unpaid - about their experiences working with fathers/male caregivers.

Complete the survey here: Working with Fathers.

In this survey, we want to understand:

  • Your views on current practice, including training completed and your training needs
  • Your confidence in including fathers/male caregivers
  • Where you believe the focus of this work should be.

All responses are anonymous, and no personal data will be collected.

The survey will close for responses on 15 September 2026.

We would be grateful for your support by:

  1. Completing our survey
  2. Promoting and cascading the survey through your professional networks.

Thank you - your feedback will help shape future workforce development, training, and support for father-inclusive practice across Greater Manchester.
