On Wednesday 18 March, neighbourhood venues across Breightmet will open their doors for the Live Well Trail - an easy way to explore local activities, meet friendly faces and discover everyday support in places you already know and trust.
Live Well brings practical help into the heart of communities, shaped by what matters to people and supported by joined up local services.
Just drop-in at any venue. Stay for five minutes or explore a few. Whatever suits you.
Part of something bigger
This trail is part of the Greater Manchester Live Well Spring Festival, a two-week celebration (9–23 March) featuring more than 200 community-led events across the ten boroughs.
The festival showcases how Live Well looks in practice: everyday support, stronger connections and community power in neighbourhood spaces.

People across Greater Manchester will be using the social media hashtag #GMLiveWell throughout the Festival — it’s an easy way to see what’s happening locally and across the city region.
Why it’s happening
Live Well is Greater Manchester’s commitment to making practical support easy to find and close to home, with a focus on prevention that keeps people well, stopping small issues becoming bigger ones, as well as connection and reducing inequalities.
In Bolton, we’re beginning in the East, so residents can help shape how Live Well develops locally.
