Priority will be given to settings who have been allocated Inclusion Funding for autumn term 2025 on bookings received by 6th October 2025.
A practical training session designed to help practitioners create rich opportunities for interaction, joint attention, and early communication. With a focus on supporting children with social communication needs, including those on the ASC – BSCIP pathway, the session explores total communication approaches by integrating Signalong, visual supports, and communication symbols.
Practitioners will leave with strategies to build meaningful connections and support every child’s attention, engagement, and learning.

For EYFS staff supporting children in receipt of Inclusion Fund, EYFS Leaders, EYFS SENCOs, and all EYFS practitioners
Commitments and Cancellations
In order to maintain best value, we need to run this course on a maximum occupancy basis. If your place is confirmed but you are unable to attend, please send an alternative representative or cancel your place in writing by e-mailing: StartWellBookings@bolton.gov.uk with a minimum of 24 hours' notice.
An administration fee of £25 per person will be charged for the non-attendance of any individual following an online or confirmed telephone booking. These fees will be waived if you send a replacement attendee from your setting to take up your place.
