Supporting practitioners to implement graduated approach following the cycle of action
For EYFS staff supporting children in receipt of Inclusion Fund, EYFS Leaders, EYFS SENCOs, and all EYFS practitioners
The session provides a forum for EYFS practitioners to support Early Intervention and Early Intervention in line with The Code of Practice
What will I learn?
During the session, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop SMART targets
- Identification of need
- Strategies to support early intervention
- How this links with Single Point of Access
- Using assessment tools such as Dingley Promise and Developmental Journal
- Auditing the environment
- Consider how you work collaboratively with families in the process
- Case studies examples of good and developing practice

In order to maintain best value, we need to run this course on a maximum occupancy basis. An administration fee of £25 per person will be charged for the non-attendance of any individual following an online or confirmed telephone booking. These fees will be waived if you send a replacement attendee from your setting to take up your place.
