Duration: 4 weeks (12 hours total — 3 hours per week)

- Teaching essential numeracy: counting, sorting, measuring
- Creating number-rich learning environments
- Managing classroom budgets: addition, subtraction, estimation, comparing prices
- Interpreting observation data to track children’s numeracy progress
- Planning practical, age-appropriate activities to embed numeracy into day-to-day practice

Eligibility and Cost
Fully funded, at no cost to you or your staff.
To be eligible, participants must be:
- Aged 19+
- Employed, volunteering, or an unpaid worker in an early years setting
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
- Not already a holder of a Level 2 qualification in this subject, acquired in the last 3 years
Area: Greater Manchester and neighbouring areas (parts of Lancashire, Derbyshire, Merseyside, West Yorkshire, Cheshire). Eligibility will be confirmed by our Skills Coaches.
