Join our online briefing session for Headteachers - implementing the EYFS reforms from September 2021.

It is essential that you watch the DfE vodcasts prior to attending this online briefing to hear the official key messages from the DfE and Ofsted: School leaders DfE vodcastThe Start Well session will follow on from this to help you to plan and prepare for the roll out of the new EYFS statutory framework from September 2021. 

What will I learn?

The Start Well team will support you to:

  • Recap rationale for reform of the EYFS;
  • Evaluate and build on existing good practice – review of key messages from DfE and Ofsted;
  • Look at what the main changes are and consider what this means in practice for curriculum development, observation, assessment and planning and staff CPD;
  • Changes to the EYFS Profile and moderation; and
  • Teachers from Bolton's Early Adopter schools share thoughts on their experience of working with the reformed EYFS and Development Matters this year.
