This E-Learning package is available upon request to access any time.

This E-learning course is designed to support early years practitioners to use the Mark Making to Writing Journey resource to guide children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to develop the physical skills needed to become confident writers and ultimately improve writing outcomes.

To participate fully in this training, it is essential that you have a copy of the Mark Making to Writing Journey resource to use whilst watching this session.  If you do not currently have a copy in your school/setting, please email StartWellBookings@bolton.gov.uk to arrange to collect your free copy.

What will I learn?

During this course, we will:

• Become familiar with Bolton's Mark Making to Writing Journey guidance material; and
• Review the Mark Making to Writing Journey milestones for each band of development from birth to 60 months.

Costs

Fully funded (free) for Bolton early years providers only. 

£36 per person for all other authority practitioners.
(Charges will become effective on the date when we issue the booking confirmation and welcome email.  All requests to withdraw must be received in writing to StartWellBookings@bolton.gov.uk with the date accepted as the date of the email).

Who is this workshop for?

This E-learning course is aimed at all practitioners working in an early years setting with children under five years of age.

Booking Arrangements

Please complete the booking online section above. 

If you are booking on behalf of other members of staff, you must provide individual names and email addresses for each person in the 'Additional Information' section of the booking form to complete registration.  Generic email addresses such as manager@, office@ or email addresses in the name of the nursery not the individual will not be accepted.

When registration is complete, a welcome email(s) will be issued and you can then access the E-learning platform here.

Course Delivery

Once enrolled, you can complete this E-learning course anytime, at your own pace.  Please allow up to 2½ hours in total to complete the full course.

On completion of this course, a certificate will be issued automatically.
