Course description

As requested by Owners, Managers and Leaders of Out of School Clubs - this is a face to face session hosted by Start Well for you to come together, to network and discuss relevant topics.

Start Well will share the latest news and developments relevant to Out of School Clubs and invite along other services to share information, as appropriate.

What will it cover?

Standing agenda items will include:

  • Ofsted updates;
  • Safeguarding updates;
  • Start Well local and national updates;
  • Start Well training, news and other updates;
  • Current priorities, and
  • A discussion of topics raised by managers and owners of Out of School Setting provision.

There will be opportunities for you to pause for thought and ask questions throughout the session.  Come along and share your experiences, challenges and good practice.

Who is this session for?

All managers and owners of registered Out of School Clubs (OOSC) provision.

Please tell us, using the additional information section of the booking form if you're an OOSC with your own registration or an OOSC run by a school or PVI.

Commitments and Cancellations

In order to maintain best value, we need to run this course on a maximum occupancy basis. If your place is confirmed but you are unable to attend, please send an alternative representative or cancel your place in writing by e-mailing: StartWellBookings@bolton.gov.uk with a minimum of 24 hours' notice.

An administration fee of £25 per person will be charged for the non-attendance of any individual following an online or confirmed telephone booking. These fees will be waived if you send a replacement attendee from your setting to take up your place.

Bolton Start Well operates on a not-for-profit basis. Our focus is to achieve positive meaningful outcomes. Any surplus income is reinvested to maintain and improve the quality of our services and customer care.
