The DfE-funded NELI programme, is a 20-week intervention to build children’s vocabulary, listening and storytelling skills through targeted small group and individual sessions. Designed to support children who need the most help, NELI is proven to help children make up to 7 months extra progress in their oral language skills. 

All state-funded schools with a reception class are invited to apply for places on the programme.
