EYFS Profile Optional Local Data Collection 2021
This year it is optional for your school to submit assessments for children who will be 5 years old on or before 31st August 2021.
Submitting Data in 2021
If your school chooses to provide data this year, the CTF containing results should be submitted to the LA via S2S by Wednesday 30th June 2021 at the latest. Information Management will check the data and notify you of any errors. (You may have to re-submit the file at this point).
Information Management will send out Summary Reports as usual but as the data is optional this year, there will be no Head Teacher’s Data Confidence form. So, this year, once any errors have been cleared, the data will be taken as final and presented back to you in a local data pack, including your on entry data if you submitted it.
Early Adopters of the Revised Framework
Early Adopter schools can, if they wish, record and submit data to the LA using the guidance in Part 2 and Part 3. Unfortunately, it will not be possible for the Information Management Unit to provide the usual Bolton Data Pack for the data this year. However, should your school opt to record data in Sims, it will be possible to make use the usual Sims reports and analysis tools and the data will form part of the Pupil Record.
In addition, if your school opts to submit this data, it will be very valuable in supporting the development of the Information Management Unit’s processes for next year.
