Department for Education wraparound childcare survey

The Department for Education (DfE) has put together a short survey, which it has asked us to circulate with Ofsted-registered wraparound childcare providers. This survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. The DfE wants to gain a better understanding of how providers of 'wraparound childcare' have been affected by the national COVID-19 (coronavirus) restrictions and what this means for the provision you are currently offering. This will help inform the DfE's ongoing response to the pandemic.
By 'wraparound childcare providers' we mean providers that support children at times based around the school day or school term and whose primary purpose is to provide childcare. For example, we mean those that provide breakfast clubs, after-school clubs, holiday clubs and weekend childcare for school-aged children.
We would be grateful if you could complete the survey by Friday 5 February 2021.
Your responses will be confidential. The full survey responses will not be held or used by Ofsted. However, the DfE will share information about the open or closure status of providers with Ofsted. For more information on how your responses will be used by the DfE, please consult their privacy notice. If you have any other questions about this survey, contact mike.bourne@education.gov.uk or robert.cirin@education.gov.uk at the DfE.
Kind regards
Early Years Regulation team
