Nasen are currently offering a FREE online course that provides Early Years Practitioners with a thorough understanding of inclusive practice for SEND in Early Years settings. 

EY SEND Partnership: A Whole Setting Approach - Meeting the Needs of Every Child; Training for Early Years Practitioners.

The course, funded by the DfE includes activitites (please download these ready for use when watching the webcast) and a 90 webcast. 

The 90 minute webcast will cover the following topics:

  • Responsibilities of a PVI setting towards children with SEND
  • The role of the SENCO and the key person
  • What effective inclusive practrice looks like in a PVI setting
  • How to use nasen's free face-to-face training materials. 

There is opportunity to complete an evaluation and obtain a certificate of completion.  All of the information can be accessed on the link above.
