Hot weather and asthma

Hot weather & high pollen count can make asthma symptoms worse

If you have asthma – know your inhalers, especially in hot weather!

Your regular preventer inhaler – brown – is the one to help you keep well every day. Your reliever inhaler – blue – can help if you’re having an attack & gets medicine to your lungs fast.

If you have asthma then a high pollen count, hot weather and even thunderstorms can affect your condition.  ALWAYS carry an inhaler and DON’T leave it in direct sunlight.

And, don’t forget to have an annual asthma check with your GP.
