This workshop provides a brief overview of the way in which practitioners should use Early Help Assessments to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).
What will I learn?
This workshop is designed to focus on the use of Early Help Assessment in the context of SEND and other identified needs for a child and family. The workshop uses interactive teaching methods, practical activities and group discussion to engage learners.
By the end of this workshop, you will:
- Understand the Early Help process and be able to identify the benefits for children, their families and Practitioners; and
- Know what makes a good Early Help Assessment.
Who is the workshop for?
This workshop is aimed at practitioners working with children aged 2-5 years and their families. It is suitable for Managers, EYFS Leads, SENCOs, Room Leaders and all Early Years Practitioners.
