Bolton Council is seeking an inspirational, enthusiastic well-organised, role model to lead the team at our Ofsted graded ‘good’ early years provision at Harvey Nursery. With a minimum of NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Early Years and Childcare you must have an in-depth working knowledge of the EYFS and experience of successfully managing/leading a team in a ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ childcare setting. The role would suit a person with a good understanding of financial accountability, strong organisational and communication skills to deliver the high standards of childcare and education expected by parents, Ofsted and Bolton Council.
Your key responsiblities:
You should have a proven track record of leading and managing an Early Years provision. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery in line with the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. Take a key role in safeguarding children, be responsible for the management of the day-to-day financial operations, budget setting and managing occupancy to ensure viability of provision. You will Lead the performance of teams and individuals and have proven experience of developing the trust and support of colleagues, team members, and parents.

The applicant should have an Early Years degree and/or NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and Childcare or equivalent.
