What happens at this session?
This session is aimed at leaders and managers of daycare settings who are expecting an inspection and would like the opportunity to discuss what to expect at inspection. This is an opportunity for leaders and managers to prepare for inspection through reflection and self-evaluation.
How will this session help?
This is a session to explore the inspection process through practical activity, video clips, case study, discussion and reflection.
We will explore:
- The Inspection Handbook to know the inspection process and what to expect on the day
- The grade descriptors
- Good practice examples
- The importance of action planning and self-evaluation
- Recent National and Local inspection trends.
